Ran a bunch of scenarios based on the final signed Congressional bill.

My prior calculation was off because I had failed to adjust the "subtraction amount" for the new bracket. Those lower rates in the early brackets make a decent difference.

That changed my outlook from $6500 more down to about $2800 more.

And then accounting for that change of the elimination of SALT to capping at 10,000 for SALT + Property Taxes helped me quite a bit. Shifted me down to a $1800 increase. Not as bad as I expected.

With the extra $10K I plan to give to charity, I can drop down into the 22% bracket and life will be good.
